This course assumes that
the participants are familiar with the general safety rules and regulations
from OSHA and ANSI concerning mobile cranes. Using a train-the-trainer approach,
the students will learn what issues are in mobile crane operations and who is
responsible for what. Everyone who attends toll receive a complete set of training
materials. The lead instructor will focus on the materials developed and demonstrate
his/her teaching style and techniques, as well as facilitate discussions among
other participants. During these discussions, all those who attend the Train-the-Trainer
course will have the opportunity to contribute to the class and share experiences.
Based on the participants' existing knowledge of mobile crane issues and standards,
it is not necessary to complete the Managing Mobile Crane Hazards course prior
to taking the Train-the-Trainer course.
